Grotto Golf is owned & operated by Australian PGA/All Abilities member Ian Jones and he currently teaches out of the Meadow Brook GC Queensland.

​Specialists in providing tuition for all golfers Grotto Golf delivers its own innovative and inclusive programs for some of Australia’s leading golf organization's including the PGA of Australia, Golf Australia and Special Olympics Australia/Queensland.

Recognised as a leading coach and for his creative, inspirational outside the box approach to coaching, his speciality areas include junior coaching and adults/children with intellectual and physical disabilities making him a truly inclusive golf teacher.

COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Don’t over complicate it. Golf can be fun and enjoyable to learn as long as it's kept simple, easy to understand and execute.

I have seen a lot of interesting golf swings over the years walking up & down the practice range, some very good & some well?
Often, I would ask myself how did they get to that point & how would I fix that?
No two golfers are the same, so no one swing suits everyone. There are some positions and pathway fundamentals which can be applied to all golfers no matter what their body shape, age, gender or ability is.
Being able to piece together the rest of the swing requires knowledge, know-how and encouragement from the coach and commitment, understanding & enthusiasm to learn from the pupils.
